Hello, everybody! I have just received a lovely gift from our hosting platform, WordPress.com, who have compiled an annual review of this website for me. Well over 8600 people from 79 countries visited this website in 2012, and I’m thrilled that my hard work at designing and maintaining this web space has been useful for so many people – Lauren Knifton.

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 8,600 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 14 years to get that many views.

A small write-up about the Romosexuality conference has made it into this week’s edition of the Times Higher Education magazine. It’s great to see our conference featured in an international publication, and with such a fabulous illustration! Sadly only a couple of individuals have been named in the article, but this should not detract from the high number of excellent papers and contributions that we had over the course of the conference. Not to mention all the fun we had too!

Once again, thanks to all our delegates for coming along and making this an absolutely fabulous conference – may our paths cross again soon!

The final programme for the Romosexuality conference, as well as abstracts for papers, can now be found on the programme pages of the website. Please download a copy to have one ready at your fingertips!

Any last-minute updates to the programme will be announced in Conference News.
